Thank you for coming to my web-site! Are you curious about Messianic Judaism? Want to know what it is about? Beth El Shaddai is a Messianic Jewish congregation in Torrance, California, reaching out to the Jewish people. There is only one problem...Beth El Shaddai is a completely Christian organization! In fact, it is part of the Southern Baptist Convention! This webpage will prove that Beth El Shaddai is a Christian organization, using information from their web-site and other Christian web-sites. References will be provided, so you can see the evidence with your own eyes. Southern Baptist Connection Beth El Shaddai presents itself as a Jewish organization, with Jewish "believers." Actually, it is a full-fledged member of the Southern Baptist Convention! Here is the link to their listing on the Southern Baptist Convention web-site:
Click Here Would a real Jewish congregation be part of the Southern Baptist Convention? Of course not! The Southern Baptist Convention is not in the business of creating Jewish groups-The Southern Baptist Convention is trying to spread Christinianty. The Leader
"Rabbi" Don Meecha is the leader of Beth El Shaddai. Though born Jewish, he has almost no Jewish background whatsoever. Beth El Shaddai states on their web-site: "Don was born to a Jewish mother but was given up for adoption. He was raised by a Catholic father and a Jewish mother and attended parochial schools."
So, we see that Miller is from a mixed marriage and was sent to parochial schools. Not Jewish schools, but parochial schools. Not exactly an impressive Jewish background. His educational and ministry back ground further show his Christian roots. Here are a few of the "highights":
* 1991 – 1994: Don served with Hal Lindsey Ministries in Torrance, CA.
* 1993: He was ordained by Tetelestai Christian Centre, a non-denominational Church..... * 1996 – 2002: Served as Director of Mission Operations, South Bay Branch, CA, CPM (USA).
* 1997: Ordained by the Southern Baptists. Received his M.A. in Religion.
* 2002: Ordained by the Associated Gospel Churches of Canada (AGC).
Ordained by three different Christian groups? There is no question that this is not a real rabbinical education, but the education of an evangelical Christian leader. No real synagogue would have Meecha as a leader, as he does not possess real Jewish rabbinic ordination or anything along the lines of a good Jewish education. Here is the link to the quotes, they come from the "His Education, Ministry & Family" section:
Click Here Light of Messiah MinistriesBeth El Shaddai is part of Light of Messiah Ministries (LOM), which is run by Reverend Meecha. Here is a link to the LOM web-site where they are listed as an affiliated congregation:
Click Here As Reverend Meecha is an Associated Gospel Churches of Canada ordained minister, it is probably not suprising that Light of Messiah is a church of the Associated Gospel Churches movement. Here is a link to their directory where you can find Light of Messiah's listing in Toronto, with Reverend Meecha as their leader:
Click Here Let us be honest with ourselves-a real Jewish synagogue would not join a Christian denomination, and conversely, a Christian denomination would not allow a real Jewish synagogue to join them. Christian Links Since Beth El Shaddai is a Christian group, run by a Christian minister, it is not surprising that you will find Beth El Shaddai on numerous Christian lists. A real Jewish synagogue would never be listed on these sites: Sovereign Grace Publishers (under "Torrance")
