Exploring Bat Zion

****This site is under construction, please come back later****

Thank you for entering my page!  Right now, you are probably searching to find out more about Jewish beliefs in Jesus.  Perhaps, you are questioning your faith, and are looking at different options. Are you curious about Messianic Judaism? Interested in its possibilities? Bat Zion states that it is a:

"Messianic body of believers that is comprised of both Jews and non-Jews who have come to a living faith in Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah and have embraced the Jewishness of Biblical faith in Him.

In truth, there is nothing Jewish about Bat Zion. It is a Christian ministry, run by Christian missionaries, housed in a Church. I will prove this, using evidence from their site and other Christian sites. Links will be provided to the proofs, so you can evaluate the evidence for yourself.

The Leaders

The leaders of Bat Zion are Steven and Margaret Jaslow. Both are Christian missionaries. In fact, according to the Bat Zion site:

"Steven and Margaret Jaslow are both graduates of Christ For The Nations Bible School.

Here is the link to the quote, it is under the "Congregational Leaders" section on the lower right part of the webpage: Click Here

So, what is Christ For The Nations Bible School? As you can tell from the name, it isn't a Jewish organization. According to Dennis Lindsay, the President and CEO of Christ For The Nations:

"Christ For The Nations is an interdenominational missionary organization founded by my dad and mom, Gordon and Freda Lindsay. Our goal is to obey the Great Commission (Editor's Note: The Great Commission is the Christian concept of spreading the beliefs of Christiniaty). We are endeavoring to do that in several ways.

With donations from our generous sponsors, we've helped build over 11,000 Native Churches"

It doesn't take much to realize that anyone who graduates from Christ For The Nations are missionaries trying to convert Jews, not real Jewish leaders! Here is the link to the proof that Lindsay said this: Click Here

Of course, as a product of Christ for The Nations, Steven Jaslow maintains a relationship with others from that missionary school. Steven Jaslow recently spoke at the Rozel Christian Fellowship. If you look at the link, you will see under its name, that Rozel is an affiliate of Christ For The Nations. Interestingly, according to Rozel Christian Fellowship:

"Pastor Steven Jaslow of Bat Zion Messianic Congregation ministered to us on our Jewish roots as Christians. He talked to us about our responsibilities as Christians to the Jewish nation."

Christian responsibilities to the Jews? That is a Christian phrase that means the responsibility to evangelize the Jews. A real Jewish group would never do that! Here is the link to the proof, the quote is at the top of page: Click Here

Steve Jaslow also participated in a "Prayer & Prophetic Gathering" with Carpenter's Touch, a Christian ministry in which its leaders refer to themselves as "prophets". Here is the link to the proof, under "February 6th" (Editor's Note: If you scroll through their events, you will notice that many are "prophetic" conferences"): Click Here

Here is the link to Carpenter's Touch homepage. If you look at their mission statement at the bottom of the page, they refer to themselves as an "Apostolic and Prophetic Ministry" trying to take the "word" from "the Church Steeple." Obviously, this group is not even close to being Jewish, but Jaslow had no difficulty working with them! Here is the link: Click Here

Where They Meet

If you look at the Bat Zion web-site, you will see that they meet at 730 N. Cedar Ridge in Duncanville, Texas. If you look at Duncanville church listings, you will see that it is the address of the Duncanville Bible Church. Here is a link to the proof, please note that the churches are in Alphabetical order: Click Here

Would a real Jewish group meet at a Church? No!

Guest Performance

According to the Future Hope Ministries web-site, Dan Cutchen, the founder of Future Hope Ministries, regularly performed at Bat Zion. Here is the link to the evidence: Click Here

So who is Dan Cutchen? Well, according to his web-site:

"Dan holds a B.A and a Master's degree in Music Composition while Joy has a B.A. in Christian Education. Together, they utilize their training and skills to write original music, musical dramas, pantomime and dramatic sketches.

Dan also presents seminars to help teachers and entertainers be as creative as possible in communicating with others. Their ministry, Future Hope Ministries, offers different workshops in creative communication.

In addition to utilizing the medium of music and drama, Dan also has had an effective ministry in the preaching of God's Word. Prior to full-time ministry with Future Hope, Dan served six churches in fifteen years in the areas of Minister of Music, Minister of Youth/Christian Education, Associate Pastor and Senior Pastor. Dan is an ordained minister through the Southern Baptist Convention and is committed to the study and proclamation of God's Word.

An ordained minister through the Southern Baptist Church? The leader of six churches? Clearly, Dan Cutchen is a Christian missionary, and a real Jewish group would never invite him to their congregation. Then again, Bat Zion is not a real Jewish group! Here is the link to the quotes on Dan Cutchen, the quotes are from the last 3 paragraphs. Click Here

Christian Links

Bat Zion is listed on many Christian web-sites, something a real Jewish group would never do!

Great Sites, Priceless Information

Here are a number of great sites that counter missionaries and explain the differences in belief between Judaism and Christianity, including addressing the Biblical verses that missionaries try to use against the Jews and explaining why the missionaries are incorrect. For the most in-depth analysis of verse by verse questions, go to Messiah Truth (sections on Counter-Missionary: Multi-media training [this can be read without being "multi-media"], Knowing Your Orchard and Judaism's Answer), Jews for Judaism (in their Reference Section (please note that the Isaiah topics tend to be under "Suffering Servant" part of the "Proof Text" section) and the Q & A section of Outreach Judaism.
